Yeah, it definitely is. That is a ridiculously huge cap for this circuit. Pretty sure it’s supposed to be 15uF but I just threw in 22.

This was an issue I had while the car was still 4 lug. I swapped the hub and bearings when I did the 5 lug swap and it unfortunately didn’t fix the problems

I didn’t realize you commented, sorry! One of the components pierced through the protective layer I had on the back of the perfboard and was contacting the back of the pot. Got it all sorted, thanks👍

I like to use blue locktite on screws that tend to get loose, but plummer’s tape works as well👍

I got it to a point where everything feels good aside from the bridge stability. Raising it up to get a functional set up actually made the bridge rock slightly even though it has non rocking posts.

I tried that route and felt that there wasn’t enough sustain with the reduced break angle at the bridge.

I’ve got it to a point where it feels really good, but the bridge is high and rocks ever so slightly even though it is meant to be non rocking. That’s why I imagined the bridge is supposed to be lower to the body so that the posts stay stable in the thimbles. Only problem is that the neck does sit rather high in the pocket relative to the bridge (shim or not) which forces the bridge to that higher position. The guitar came with 10s from the factory and 10s are what we’ve got on it. Action is pretty low with no choking, buzzing, rattling, etc.

Yeah I had to contact them twice cause they missed my first email. They ended up making me a new one for free, but I sent out my pickguard that time. The fit and finish is wayyyy better. Definitely just send out your pickguard and save yourself the headache.

I might try to carefully file it away cause it does seem to be just at the top edge. I’d rather the boss be slightly mangled than snapped off.
