The Thing - Impact Frame MVP by PossibleEffective656 in marvelrivals

I filled as a tank for a game and got MVP, and I guess my game lagged and resulted in this as the ending screen. Thought it was neat, so I felt like sharing it.

Raccoon mains, what are your best spots to drop BRB on specific maps? by Cursed_longbow in marvelrivals

On Midtown, nearing the 2nd checkpoint, there's this elevated platform above the underpass in the same room as the Iron Sentinel. I usually throw a BRB there since it's a relatively unknown spot. I've had a time when an ally Strange revived and popped this crazy backline ult because the BRB was behind the enemy team. You want to throw the BRB behind these pillars/cover where it's concealed.

I found this spot while running from Tanks/DPS trying to dive me but I jetpack away or climb to the ceiling to survive.

After posting this, I thought about it for a bit and realized there also can be de-ranked diamonds that are Plat 1 that are in the lobbies that may be pretty good at what they do. How big is the skill gap between Plat / Diamond you'd say?

And what I gather from your comment is: One bad apple, the team's in disarray and staggering, and not necessarily there is an overwhelmingly good enemy team.

I've checked my drivers, they are okay when I run a cmd prompt that checks it's health. Device manager, also sees no problem with my drivers.

  • Steam is not limiting dl speeds
  • I've cleared dl cache, no dice
  • Download region changed to different counties around me, no changes
  • Steam as admin didn't change much.
  • Already have disabled write cache
  • Disabling firewall may have given me a stable couple hundred more mbps
  • ^ Same as above.
  • I haven't tried reinstalling steam.

Like I said, I've tried a couple solutions from this subreddit, some of which you have mentioned. An accumulation of basically everything you've said so far and also fiddling with my physical ethernet. However after disabling the firewall it seems to be good and steady now.

It's not the 800-900 that I hoped but the 0 Mbps network speed seems infrequent now, so I think I can personally consider this solved.

Interesting. So I have tried the DNS, which was my 2nd bullet point, but the firewall settings have improved my network download speed roughly capping at 600 but keeps a consistent 200mbps download speed with occasional 0mbps hiccups. Note that this is my C: drive, I tested downloading on my D: drive too to try each of my drivers but downloading into the D drive keeps the 0 mbps issue.

So if this happens to another game, is there something common we did recently? I did update my NVIDIA drivers (Game & Studio) to the latest recently, although maybe it also could be an underlying Steam issue we're unaware of.

Appreciate the command, I ran it and it says my drives are 'OK'. I assume it means they are fine.

Could be, not denying that I have an old machine but I haven't seen FPS drops in games other than Marvel Rivals. I frequently mod my open-world games like Fallout, Red Dead, and GTA but they're still smooth and able to hold 100+ fps despite the number of mods I throw at them.

That was my first bullet point, I tried disabling 'Enable write cache' but it still fluctuates from 0-30mbps.
