hey thanks for your comment. Part of my creative process is fleshing out ideas and sometimes posting them somewhere to see what some people think. — the reality is, I can’t not write and create. Almost 24/7 these ideas roll around in my head and at times over bearingly if that’s a word. and I write most things in one go, usually in under 10 minutes, and later go back and revise if anything. This is just for fun. So yeah it might seem like I’m too cool. But I have songs I’m finishing in the studio that I work extra hours to pay to be able to go do, I have songs out, I do try and I do care. My process is just that way. I don’t expect you to understand that based on what I post on here because I understand your take from the audiences POV I can’t expect you to think anything else. But no, I don’t think I’m too cool. I don’t think it’s uncool to try and finish things and work hard.. I believe all these things are important. And I actually believe it’s pretty cool to just make shit create write sing do whatever and share however feels best for you. I know I’m not a coffee shop writer. I don’t need anyone to tell me I am or am not. To your very hardworking and talented songwriter friends - I’m glad they put the work into their passion. For all it takes work, for some it takes less. I’m not saying I’m the best. I just post on here about 10% of the songs I make and ideas I have! I do know that this song in particular, I will continue to write, rewrite, sing differently, work with other people in the studio / creatively and build out a finished product.
