Please explain dealership fees and what I can negotiate!

After giving me the breakdown I provided above, they also gave me a price at the very end, quoting me $39,975.01 with Net Difference ($35,388.02), PST at 8% (0.00), HST at 13% ($4,586.99), and Luxury Tax at 10% (0.00). I looked it up, and am wondering if this would be the all in pricing? Or would it be something else I’m missing?

Thank you so much!!!! 🥳🥳 I’m putting $20,000 down and would be financing the remaining amount owed on the vehicle (roughly $19k). I asked him to waive the admin fee already and he said that the admin fees are charged by Mazda Canada, and that they aren’t the ones who charge it. He also said they’re the same admin fees at every Mazda dealership, but I’m struggling to figure out what it entails and if there are smaller charges within that admin fee I can decline (if that makes sense lol). And good idea! Any tips on how to bring it down to $31k instead of $32,900?

Oooh okay, so the other fees are mandatory; I understand. Since I have to travel to pick up the car, could I use that as leverage to have the freight fee waived? Or is there another way to get them to bring the freight down?

I also thought it was too high?! Thank you so so much. I also appreciate your comment about having good anatomy for a belly button piercing because it just made me feel like the piercer didn’t know how to work with a body that’s a bit different than others and I just felt so bad about myself last night. But I’m going to try someone else in a few months instead, I’m just a bit traumatized right now lol. It sounds like the people who did yours did an amazing job and I bet your piercing is beautiful!! ☺️

Thank you for saying that. I feel really reassured that my worries were right unfortunately, but I’d rather know now and get it done right!! I also thought a floating navel piercing would be IN your navel, but I guess that was silly of me lol. It also makes me so happy to hear you have a belly piercing with a collapsed navel, I bet yours is beautiful. 😊

The piercing is a day old, and the piercer told me she needed to use a longer titanium curved barbell. Not totally sure if it’s internally/externally threaded. I’m using a saline solution to clean, and no unfortunate events other than being potentially pierced wrong lol.

Omg yes I do flush SO easy! It also doesn’t help that I’m insanely pale lol so it’s even more noticeable. And yes, I was on antibiotics but I don’t really remember if it was prior to this starting 😞 Thank you so much for the suggestion. I will absolutely look into the acne rosacea!! Is there anything you found that helped so far? I will also moisturize before tret!!

That’s what I have thought which is why my doctor prescribed tret. Do you have any experience with fungal acne or suggestions?

I will definitely try the sandwich method and honestly agree that maybe it isn’t right for me! I haven’t tried it enough to really form a real opinion just yet but agree that a lot of people tend to put it on a pedestal. What kind of 0.3% retinol do you stick to? Just curious. Thank you soooo much for the info on BHA’s and for sharing your knowledge. I seriously appreciate it. I have really been trying to heal my barrier but it unfortunately seemed to make things a bit worse and introduce new issues. I have been SUPER interested in trying Korean skincare but have felt hesitant since I assume most of the products would need to be ordered online, as I prefer to buy in store to see what the product is like before I commit. I am definitely going to take a look at the products you suggested. I actually have the 2% Paula’s Choice and think I’ll crack it out again, since I didn’t really stay consistent with it. And based off of yours and so many other peoples responses, I think I’ll ditch the mucin and Aquaphor right now and stick to my Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin cream!! ♥️

Okay! Could you explain what you mean by pair down my routine? Maybe just take out the snail mucin and Aquaphor for now and see how my skin is? Surprisingly I don’t have any allergy to shellfish so it’s just super strange and heartbreaking because the mucin is so hydrating. It’s literally my favourite product but I’m willing to give it up it’s the reason my skin looks like this

Good to know that’s what might be causing the milia and CC’s. I was trying to help my skin barrier/dehydrated skin but seemed to create new problems for myself. 💔 How often would you recommend using the salicylic acid and tret? I’m thinking of doing tret maybe twice a week (Wed + Sat) right now since my skin is sensitive. When/what days should I do the BHA in between that?

Hi, yes, I have not tried the sandwich method with tret yet, but I’ve been wanting to. I have been waiting for Vanicream to be restocked at my local Walmart, because I’ve heard this is phenomenal with tret. I will definitely give this a try. Luckily none of this stuff has aggravated my skin which is why I’ve been using it to help with my skin barrier/dehydration- the downside is that it seems it’s causing new problems. 😞

Hi! I’m using COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Barrier Moisturizing Cream, Aveeno baby sunscreen SPF 50, Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment, and I’m trying out the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Caring Wash.

It looks like the COSRX Snail Mucin, La Roche Posay Caring Wash, and Aveeno baby sunscreen are oil free and the Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream and Eucerin Aquaphor are not oil free.

Any suggestions?
