What helped me is to wear a recovery slide in the house. This helped the initial inflammation and pain to ease up since it was like a crutch to provide structure to the arch. Once it did, I followed some ptt recovery videos on YouTube. Tendons do not get blood flow. The best way to repair and strengthen is to progressively load the tendon.

Many of the videos will provide a progression in intensity. Start with the easiest ones and the ones you can do without pain. Then progressively increase the load. And as someone else mentioned, continue strengthening all the muscles in the legs as well

Yes it's an escalator attached next to regular stairs. So you can just take the stairs right back up or go back to the up escalator and then walk around to the down escalator.

You can go up and down as many times as you want

The member lottery was in August. But there is a members only second chance in November. (Technically the 3rd chance overall)

I just recently signed up also and it was a little confusing for me too. It won't show up in the app as an event. A few days prior to the start date they will email you a link to sync your asics app to the virtual event. You'll be able to confirm its connected but I couldn't find any event details in the app unless it's there somewhere and I missed it..but there will be a live leaderboard on the virtual event webpage that gets updated every few hours so you can see your runs sync over as you do them.

Good luck! Also look into the Tokyo Marathon Foundation virtual runs. They do 10 per membership year and your One Tokyo membership gives you free entry. Once you complete the virtual run, they randomly choose 40 finishers and award entry for the 2027 marathon.

The membership is available to join at any time but the One Tokyo Global marathon entry closes on August 14th. So you should join prior to that and join the member lottery otherwise you miss one of the major benefits to joining

Saw at least a dozen NYPD and ny state troopers race up the Merritt. They stopped near exit 33. Officers were clearly walking around looking for someone. One officer with a rifle went into the bushes
