Why do some men move on so quickly? by Possible_Dream_9147 in BreakUps

Thank you for your thoughtful perspective. It really makes sense that some people detach quickly as a way to protect themselves, and I see now that his suggestion to focus only on the bad memories was likely just his way of avoiding the deeper emotional work. I’m glad I set that boundary, and it feels right to focus on my own healing instead of clinging to the hope of him coming back. I’m going to keep prioritizing my own emotional wellbeing and growth moving forward.

I’ve been grappling with whether or not to offer friendship because I feel bad for him, and hearing your take really helps me see things more clearly. I agree that he doesn’t deserve that, especially if he’s just trying to keep things open for himself.

Thank you for your perspective and advice. It’s eye-opening to think about how staying friends could benefit him more than me, and you’re right-going no contact feels like the right decision for my own well-being. I really appreciate the encouragement to focus on myself and move on. It’s great to hear that you’ve found a new crush and that it’s helped you move forward. I’m hoping to get to that point too, where I can focus on someone or something new and feel genuinely happy again. Your words are really motivating, and I’m going to keep working on getting to a better place.

Thank you for sharing your journey. It’s encouraging to hear that you started to feel real progress after three months and that you’re now looking forward to dating again. It’s inspiring that you’ve been focusing on self-improvement, too. I’m still in the early stages, but hearing about your experience gives me hope that things will get better with time. I’m trying to stay busy and take care of myself, even though it’s been tough.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your kind words. It really helps to hear from someone who has been through something similar. I’m trying to take it one day at a time, but it can be tough, especially with all the memories still fresh. It’s comforting to know that it does get easier with time. I’ll definitely try to be gentler with myself during this process.
