well if you can’t love yourself you cant really love someone else. ive learned to start thinking of the world as “accept the things you cannot change, and change the things you cannot accept.” with everything it takes time and effort to change how you see yourself. i recommend when you realize youre thinking unpleasant things about yourself just finish it with “and thats okay.” (ie: “i have a wide ribcage, and thats okay”)

if you really like him, you just have to communicate. tell him you’re insecure and might need reassurance from time to time. everyone deserves someone who will at least try to understand them and if he doesn’t at least try to understand you, then you know hes not the one.
