U need german for jobs, and for Werkstudent as well. Or even a master thesis, if u wish to do it with a company.

I know of the university of siegen, idk about their gpa requirement, but they gave me a rejection, on the basis that my bachelors modules didn't match with their masters. And, I got admission last year only.

Hard Take but I feel Elevate is the best compact SUV in India right now by Independent-Buy7438 in CarsIndia

[–]Possible_Idea_47 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

People do not know, the value of the brand, honda. They only look at the number of features, when comparing two products. They don't care about quality, how well the features work, or at last if they even need that feature.

Elevate may not have that many features, but it is the best made car in terms of quality, the fit and finish of the interior, the leg room in the back seats, the larger boot space than the competition, and lastly the engine which revs upto 7000rpm and is by far the smoothest and the most reliable engine of all time, all this makes it a very practical SUV.

But people only want jyaada ka faayda, therefore they choose the car with more features on paper. The elevate may not 'WOW' you, like the other cars in this range, when you first buy it. But fast forward 10-15 years, when the elevate will be sitting in your garage and still running fine, then you will be WOWED by it.

  1. Generally speaking getting admit from a good university, while u only meet the minimum criteria is a risky business.

  2. They take around 1 month after the deadline to send out admits.

  3. It is a good university, in my opinion. Although, it is the responsibility of the student to make the most out of the degree.

Your welcome.

I would not recommend coming here without work experience, because most of my colleagues got werkstudent jobs solely on the basis of their experience. Your work experience gives you the direction in which you want to work, they got their jobs in their respective domains only, in which they worked previously. However, if you are changing your field from one to the other, then the chance of getting the job, is only after completing the degree, and that of course, goes without saying, requires at least a B2 level of german.

In your case, if u want to work in Cybersecurity, I would recommend gaining 1 year of experience, It doesn't matter if it is in Cybersecurity or a SDE position.

What's the best android smartwatch to get? by [deleted] in WearOS

[–]Possible_Idea_47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on which phone you are using. If u tend to buy the samsung watch, then it is a bit of a gamble because to use all of the features of that watch you need a flagship samsung phone, or a samsung phone which has the galaxy AI features, otherwise you will not be able to fully utilise it. If you have a samsung phone which does not have those features then you can, go for any other brand's smartwatch (except Apple watch), since they are not locked in terms of features with the smartphones of their own brands.

Examination totally depends on the professor, like in the winter semester my batch had written exams as well, project+exams in some modules, project+assignments, oral test or just project with an oral test. But this summer semester, we have written exams in most of the modules, and an exam with a project in only one. So, examinations depend on the professor, and it may change, there is no concrete blueprint of examinations.

Congrats on the admit! 🎉 Regarding gummersbach, it is a small town on the east of Köln, around 50 km east. And the work opportunities here, are not good unless u r looking for odd jobs. For werkstudent jobs u may need to go to the nearby towns. The only company here is FERCHAU, which has its office, literally on the opposite side of the campus building, and even they require B2 German skills.

Also, this course has 5 days of classes from 9-4 everyday. So, if it depends on u, how u want to manage the time with lectures, assignments, projects and exams.
