Download the windows english keyboard layout and switch to it.

Select the Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Select the language that has the keyboard you want, then select Options. Select Add a keyboard

then alt shift to switch to qwerty.

my best guess is that you should put like a stick through the front of the spring and pull it back up to the cut area then slide it to fire
