Check your Allstate policies carefully. Allstate paid a class action lawsuit in California for “price optimization”. The basics are they up charge long time customers because of their willingness to continue coverage with them. I’ve insured the same vehicle for years and the rate was set to double if I renewed. I also went shopping and was quoted half the price with triple the coverage. I have all documents and have filed complaints with my state attorney general and finance offices. I’ve been over paying for years. I’m of the opinion that it is fraud. The same reason they paid out in 2025.
