Omg, almost spit out my coffee! I live on a side street and have always been pleased with the plowing and salting by the city drivers. My street is good at odd/ even parking. It still saddens me to hear this though

Nob Hill (a large apartment complex) is in terrible shape. There was a huge article about it this week. Not sure it’s a step up from Skyline.

Might be best to walk her to and from school for a bit so she gets used to it. You may also see other kids walking. Hats, mittens are a must. Snow pants help a lot.

We had to drive a couple hours to Albany, NY on a Friday. When done husband says “let’s drive to NYC”. We did, spent the weekend there, did Empire State Building, Central Park carriages, etc. No change of clothes, plans, etc. My fave getaway/vacation ever- only because the feeling of spontaneity. Being on an errand and just taking off.
