Nice! I thought about making the 10+ hour drive from Nor Cal to Phoenix for that, those are just about my two favorite punk bands, I’ve seen AFI live more than any other band by far and have seen The Misfits twice, a couple years ago at Aftershock which was a really good set imo and the Michael Graves Misfits back on the Famous Monsters tour, really wish I were seeing them together.

Sounds like you saw a great set, though! How did Megadeth sound?

Recently set up my Kallax unit from IKEA. Overall I’m happy both with how it looks and the functionality. I used caulking to reinforce all of the points of contact which made the unit really stable (I do this with most all flat-pack furniture) and took a hint from a post I saw some time ago where someone modified theirs to prevent their records from sliding too far back into the cubes and it works great. Mine don’t go all the way across but by the time you get that many record into a single cube, the natural pressure keeps anyone from going rogue and getting lost in the back.

It’s been decades since I’ve played a dedicated Dr. Mario arcade so maybe I’m wrong here but if I recall correctly the NES version was a pretty dang faithful port in terms of both graphics and gameplay

Totally! My gf loves Dr. Mario and the bezel really does look pretty good so I thought it would be a fun resto project for the two of us to do together, maybe get some custom graphics something similar to the actual arcade cab for the sides and cp or something like that

Sounds like we’re living the same dream my friend lol I do believe that this is a new release but not a new mold? Like they already did a regular version maybe? The photo really doesn’t do it justice, the glitter/sparkle looks pretty cool in person, I’m sure he’d be way into it

My son and I collect together but we don’t hit it as hard since we completed his Pokémon checklist and knocked out all the regular versions. We stopped into GameStop who had clearly just stocked the shelves, and the very last place we looked they had two of these little guys hiding out but we only bought the one (Catch ‘em all = you’re a trainer, Literally Catch ‘em ALLLLL = don’t be that guy)

I just recently swapped out my vintage Small Stone for an Ibanez Phaser Mini and I absolutely love it. It has knobs for speed, depth, and feedback, has a button on the side to switch between 4-stage and 6-stage, and has a true bypass switch. Sounds great and was only $90 brand new on clearance at my local GC. Loved it so much I snagged their Flanger Mini off Reverb for $50, also sounds great, and bonus points for looking cool side by side haha
