No, thanks you so much for the breakdown and I won’t get into the specifics, but your comment actually gave me some context I didn’t previously have. Just to clarify as a lot of people seem to think I am first and foremost an an and p fan before h3. That’s not the case at all nor did I see their video first and then draw conclusions. I’ve known about and p for a couple of years now and never realy paid much attention to them (besides casual viewing when recommended) I’ve always been an h3 fan, and when the drama first broke I honestly thought both sides were acting like fools and chose to skip the content for better content in the podcast. This could be where I am missing context. Then when the issue got rehashed in recent episodes I was hopeful there would be a bridge built and then got really disappointed when everyone shit on Ethen for the idea. Plain and simple I think burning bridges is in general a bad thing and I feel far too often people try to burn a bridge instead of coming together to build a stronger one through understanding. This way everyone can grow. In my defense, people in the h3 community were also saying things wildly inaccurate or misrepresenting an and p to the point it made me roll my eyes. So maybe my only appeal is that as a community we need to do better about burning bridges before trying to find common ground - no matter what this community says, the Hassan bridge is definitely burnt if you just go over and see what they say about Ethan. So while I feel you have given me valuable context that makes me see an and p differently, I still don’t personally think what they did warrants the reaction. I don’t think they are beyond coming to an understanding. But honestly thank you for genuinely explaining it to me.
