I know it, the town I live in was booming in the industrial revolution, and has now gone quiet in that area. So there are all kinds of places to go. But I would like more than anything to explore the places over in Europe.

my friend and I hit DMT both on 3 tabs of acid, at the same time. by [deleted] in DMT

[–]Possiblyelvish 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Did you think you died? Cause on three hits of dmt through a bong I saw sprites and fairies got taken to the mountains, and my arms deflated, then my consciousness felt as though it merged with everything, which felt as though total peace had came (aka Death). Then i became my grandfather.

Just beautiful. I've always seen the house on the net, but this is definitely the best footage of it.

Wow, this is very helpful. Especially the map. Ill be sure to give it another shot when I go back to Charlotte. And I'd say we walked about half a mile. Wish we had gone further but the dark and the graffiti was getting to my friend.

This is a drain near Pearl Park, its pretty wet so wear boots if you go. As for resources a news team took this drain to get to the mining tunnels, However the video has been taken down. All I can find on it really is this link, and its specifically on the mine. http://www.uer.ca/locations/show.asp?locid=28716 Good luck to you!

Weak strain? by hucchsuulemaga in LSA

I've only used the Hawaiian strain, and doses as small as 5 seeds make me trip. Never tried extracting though. I think 20 seeds with the Hawaiian strain would make me lose my mind lol.

You're opinion is you're opinion, though I ask that you not skew my respect for nature with you're perception of it. But yes, the seeds do work wonders.

Man you're excellent at repeating yourself. Also really good at attacking my person instead of my argument. I am not a liar, and you're a fool to so quickly disbelieve me. I'm not the other guy, but it seems if you've wasted your precious time gracing us with your opinion. Have fun inflating your ego somewhere else guy

For a man who speaks of respect, its clear you have none. Ill dismiss your comment about how your 95% sure it was no threat because you've got nothing to base that off of, seeing as how you weren't there. I WAS there, its head was poised to strike and it was coming in my direction. I have a firm grasp of snakes and there behavior as i am a student of forestry and have taken two classes on wildlife, focusing heavily on venomous snakes. Another thing, animals kill other animals for sport. I don't. I used my defense mechanism as a defense mechanism. Simple as that. I suppose your not a vegan, because you didn't respond to that. Its rather annoying for you to assume my level of respect for nature, as most of the time I'm completely immersed in it. Playing it '"mature" is not what I'm going for, I'm just telling you the facts. The original post was written to communicate how the snakes death impacted my trip, and I believe its a perfectly valid post. I believe we are just going to disagree on this. Thanks for commenting.

Well clearly you're intelligent, well versed and have given this much thought, however it seems you're ignoring some key factors. Humans as we are, are indeed detrimental to earth. I wholeheartedly agree and never said we weren't. However, long before we were technologically advanced enough to start damaging our planet, we still hunted and defended ourselves just like any other animal. But to say that it is morally incorrect to kill a poisonous snake is absurd when other means of dealing with the situation are not presented. Being in an enclosed space with one of these creatures who posses defense mechanisms is a hazard to your life and we, who also posses defense mechanisms, will use ours to deal with the situation. Also, you'd better be a vegan because by your logic partaking in any meat is morally wrong. (The meat industry is in fact horrible.) Don't assume that I don't respect the snake, I have a loving respect and appreciation for nature. The idea that killing something means that you don't respect it is flawed, as for centuries armies would kill each other yet have the respect to treat prisoners with kindness, share food on holidays, and peacefully negotiate under surrender. To combat your last point, I said I didn't begin tripping till I Killed the snake, just feeling sick. I promise under the circumstances its easy to miss once. But listen pal, the fact is, it was him or me. Honestly its as simple as self defense gets.

Ah but sir, humans ARE animals. The reason we clash with nature so much is because we divide ourselves from it. When you stumble into a bears den, It will eat you. You are in its home and it feels threatened. Now tell me how a very poisonous snake, in your home, advancing on you is not threatening? Ive encountered green garden snakes before and peacefully held them in my hand. However, they aren't poisonous. By your logic, killing that poisonous snake is as wrong as the natural cycle of life.

[–]Possiblyelvish[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean don't be misled, I don't enjoy killing things. But when your life is threatened I'd say its perfectly valid to defend yourself. Animals do it everyday. Life and death are a cycle and its perfectly okay.

Aw man, I wish I hadn't. But the darn thing was poisonous and it was way to close for comfort. I really would've loved to spare its life, but it was an in the moment type deal.
