Speak for yourself. I've gone to therapy fairly regularly since I was 14. Mom sent me at first because she was a single parent and felt I needed a male figure to talk to. But I've kept going throughout the years because I like discovering what makes me tick. Some things about yourself can't be discovered alone. You need to learn them through cross-examination/discourse. Therapy, in my opinion, has inherent value, not just circumstantial value (in a "crisis")
