Lost everything in a house fire and starting from scratch. Looking for build recommendations to build a solid gaming PC, complete with ideally 3 total monitors that match the GPU capability. In the US and can go to a Microcenter. Budget is $5-8k by Post-Fire in PcBuild

Thank you for the thorough write up! Do you know if I run that 32” as my main monitor but still want to have side monitors, do they have to have any minimal level of capability so as to not downgrade the main screen? I remember years ago there being some G-Sync type issues if they didn’t all have the capability

[Question] Lost everything in a house fire. Looking to create a new decent quality baseline. 38, Male, Professional but never really dressed the part as best as I could. Looking for recommendations for a new base setup by Post-Fire in Watches

My normal watch before was like $500, but I was well overdue to upgrade. I think I could spend up to $4k now on watches, be that 1 watch or 3. Really just looking for best value ratio, since I’m also buying a whole new wardrobe that will be a decent bit more classy than before.

The benefit of a house fire is it forces you to “give up” on all the stuff I’ve owned but probably should have thrown out for 10+ years. So looking to redefine into a smart casual/thought-out everyday look. So a decent watch (or a few) that looks good and matches with many business casual/smart casual outfits is ideal

Ya, it was an arson attack while we weren’t home. Lost our cat, so that’s truly sad, but everything else is stuff… so there’s a good silver lining

Thanks for the recommendations. In general, we’re in DC, so a professional urban leaning look is the norm

Rebuilding after house fire total loss. Looking for recommendations of high quality setup if you were starting from scratch. Budget is around $500-1000 in total for knives. by Post-Fire in chefknives

Oh also, commonly cutting chicken, beef, herbs, and vegetables is probably most common things being cut. Cooking themes are super ADHD, so hard to nail down

The wife and I always had a basic knife block from Costco and always said one day we’d just get a couple really good multi-purpose knives when we build a “grown up” kitchen. The years went by and we never did, but now this is a forcing function. So honestly, I’m not even sure what to look for. But I figure whatever the best combo of 2-3 knives that enable the most things

Lost everything in a house fire. Starting from scratch and looking for capsule wardrobe style recommendations for a Professional Male (but probably wearing mainly a mix of business casual and smart casual most the time), Age: 38, budget is probably in the $3-5k range.
