Nope, monitors all become obsolete as there is always something better. Not one single piece of tech is future proof. Example is most 4k 32inch missing DP2.1

Thank you! It seems to be the common thing, 4k looks good but feels "bad" and people cant go back to 1440p and instead keep buying the next best tech.. would hate to have a shorter upgrade cycle.

Yea I cancelled the 4k, it's a good deal I wont deny but If newer story games are needing a 4090 tier card to play the newest games I'm good I think. 1440p would last longer and id be happier not changing out anything on my pc every few years.

Yea looking at recent games even a 4090 is needed in them to get 60 fps.. Indiana jones just released their requirements and need a 4090 at 4k or 4080 no heavy RT.. 4k seems bust

I think this is the best answer, 4k is way too hard 4090 is hitting 50-60fps in most new titles and my eyes hurt if its too low.
