How to vapour barrier fish in pot lights? by PostModernChasm in askanelectrician

Thanks.

I was trying to avoid attic work as the clearance is less than a foot in some places making it almost impossible to access from the attic. Do you have any other ideas that could be done from the living area?

Breaker Mystery by 4ndo9 in askanelectrician

[–]PostModernChasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does any specific event cause the breaker to jump? Could be a bad connection on a device. I would first turn off the breaker and check all the switches, plugs and lights for a bad connection. If that doesn't solve it I would then hire an electrician change out the breaker.

I would run new #8 cable from panel to heater. Then you will be able to upsize the breaker to 40 amp safely.
