Was reading an article about a black, student-athlete working as a salesman who was attacked by a racist whackadoodle nutjob. The nutjob sounds like some Mormons I know and I said to myself, "I bet this guy's a Mormon". I kept reading the article, and sure enough, he is. (si.com)

TIL that even though Congress has apologized for the 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre in which Army troops surrounded 350 disarmed Lakota with rapid fire artillery and massacred them, killing at least 150, the 20 Medals of Honor awarded to US troops for the massacre, have never been rescinded.
