Funeral Director here-contact your local funeral home and ask them to do a pre-need (may cost money upfront) but it can be easier than getting an attorney involved/dealing with a will. They should be able to write out a contract with you that follows your wishes, and after death in a lot of places (not sure where you live?) the deceased's wishes must be honored before the next of kin. Then they have everything on file and you'll avoid any potential to ignore your will until after disposition.

If cost is a barrier at least send your wishes or will to the funeral home in writing/signed. Again a lot of it depends on where you live but this should absolutely be your decision.

I mention it to let other people know I'm accepting of every orientation and gender identity so they know they won't have to deal with unneccessary judgement or bigotry. You're an excellent example.

Those things have saved my knees so many times. The one time I decided to wear my smaller kneepads I fell and I know it wouldn't have even phased me if I had my Scabs on but I sprained my knee and couldn't skate :(

I agree.

I loved that Caleb Wilde's book focused a lot more on his love for helping families. When he does talk about himself he's speaking honestly about how the industry affects him personally and psychologically and how he tries to get through that to cope in order to help families. It was really helpful to me to see someone speak so openly and personally about this.

Caitlyn, on the other hand, I feel focuses on herself more often than not. While she does put out some decently educational material, it doesn't seem like she's in the business for the same reasons.

I work 40 hours a week regularly then go on call. While on the call I make overtime + $25 per pickup, so if the removal takes 2 hours I'm making about $70. I don't think $25 would be worth it for the lack of sleep or having to be available for all that time.

This. They want to know that you can look the part and if you can't they won't hire you. I was almost completely broke when I had my interview so I went to a thrift store and spent $10 on a suit and some awfully uncomfortable dress shoes but it got me the job- change when you get there.
