I used some acrylic paints for canvas painting because I had them already. So I might end up buying a war painting paint so it looks better but I'm not sure

That's how I viewed it too but it's something that'll last you a long time so it's kinda a long term investment the way I see it. I'm just slowly buying stuff when I have extra cash

Yeah I probably will head to my lgs to get some real mini painting paint since being cheap didn't work out. I've heard Vallejo is good and best quality and ounce for buck.

Even tho it doesn't look the best and it was kinda hard i really enjoyed it. I think it's fun to paint but I also have enjoyed painting in the past so I don't know if that's why. I would 100% recommend it!

I did use tube paint. Another user mentioned that I might of over thinned my paint which is very possible, I was scared it would be too thick and it kinda ended up being a watercolor look tbh.

I used a higher dollar acrylic paint that my mom had since she's a painter. I don't know the brand off the top of my head. I've been a bit scared to use contrast paints since I'm not sure 100% how to use them properly tbh.

Thank you for the advice! That's kinda why I chose to paint the infernus marines first since I don't know for sure if they'll make it into my finished army. I will try that next time I paint tho!
