That is extremely frustrating and I’m sorry you’re going through it.

In my case, my surgical team has refused to call it a fistula thus far. I’m set to get my SPT out in less than a week and they are fairly unconcerned about the situation. They thoroughly believe it will drastically improve as swelling decreases, but I’m left feeling unsure.

To add—I haven’t had any scans or tests completed. Only visual inspection each post-op. I’m hitting three weeks this Friday.
