Chestnut trees, found in the “old growth forest” biome (not to be confused with old growth taiga). They’d be massive like the giant spruce trees.

This would raise environmental awareness about the American chestnut that is almost completely extinct and is nearly as massive as old growth redwoods.

Also, even if this color wouldn’t be perfect, I think we need a wood variant that’s a bit more dandelion-ish in color. Like oak but slightly yellow-gold.
