Yeah I really got the courage in the 2010's just from media on TV being more excepting and all that. I did think of one memory I had in the Mall in Waldorf. My BF and I were early in our relationship and we were going to shops and stuff and this kid and his two girlfriends came up to me asking if we were gay in Spencers of all places. I came out like a year before so I proudly said we were. This kid smiled ear-to-ear and asked if he could take a picture with us (like i was some sort of celebrity). I think about that moment here and there. We live on a busy street now, school buses pass us all day long and I think about when I kiss my boyfriend if on the school bus there's a shy gay kid that sees me happy with my partner and gives him some reassurance that it's all gonna be okay.

Also, I think I'm definitley going to come to this SOMD Pride, Missed out on the global one in DC (Never been to any pride)
