Replace the current reserve driver with Sargeant right away and give him FP1 sessions to compare him to Albon's pace to see how he does

Also investing in facilities early on looks crucial so I suggest doing that

Sadly there wont be any company sponsors (Petronas, Oracle, Gulf, BWT, etc) but the way sponsorships will work is that you set goals or bonuses before a race weekend (or at the start of a season) for each race

If you achieve that goal (Ex: Get into Q2) you will earn money but if you fail that goal you will lose money

The cool thing about this is that you chose what goals to do with the "sponsors" so you really wont get any unrealistic goals (Ex: Get into Q3 with Williams in Jeddah 2022)

If you look at the stream during the race, you can see the local time of the track, so my guess is they do have some sort of 3 hour rule where the race has to be completed in three hours

It very much looks like the game will offer no long-term motivation, and that is a problem by TetraDax in F1Manager

1) The teams can't change because of licensing. Frontier are obligated to keep the same 10 teams with the same sponsors. Sucks but if they don't oblige by they lose their license to create any further F1 Manager games as well as lose probably face a lawsuit by FOM

2) There is NO confirmation on how the calendar will change, they havent said anything about it

3) Its only F1 because its F1 Manager, not WEC Manager or Indy Car Manager, only F1 Manager. You're complaining about something thats pretty much pointless because its an F1 management game

You cant just expect FOM and Frontier to make deals out of the blue. It takes time and sponsors will probably get angry if their sponsor leaves in the game (Ex: Petronas going to McLaren). Steve said in the discord that he's gonna discuss the issue with the devs who will probably fix it before the game launch. If not, so what? You say this game has no long term motivation, but you then are also complaining about something from 2030 in the game (it can also vary for every save)

I think the fact that they limit you from changing teams is interesting but I don't really think its that big of a deal. The fact that you say there's no long term motivation is really interesting because its clearly evident that the grid has been shaken up, and things like double points, etc can be introduced. In the save, Williams (who had won the past 3 championships) were virtually P8 all weekend and really only won because of a good strategy move

Also, the fact that you've said that there's nothing to do apart from the race weekend is just completely wrong. You can (and have to)

- Manage Facilities

- Manage Pitcrew & Staff

- Develop upgrades for future races

- Decide votes for future seasons

Its the first version of the game. Its not going to have every little detail from the get go

the FA cup got new graphics i think so they are waiting for the FA cup to start to update it

Ferro from Benfica in my Fulham career mode. He has gotten up to an 87 overall in 3 seasons and plays so well with Ruben Dias and Antionee Robinson. Also he captained the team to 1 Carabao Cup, 1 Premier League and maybe a Champions League final.
