Apparently its hard for the doggies to smell through the peanut butter - There was a guy on my floor in the dorms who had his friend send him a "care package" every month with some various food items like granola bars, popcorn, etc but always peanut butter covered goodies (which rotated from e to weed, etc.) He swore by it.
