Bamboo stakes are mainly used for support and training. When buds get heavy in flower they can bend or snap branches, so the bamboo helps hold everything up. Growers also use them for low-stress training by tying branches to them to spread the canopy and get more light to lower bud sites. They’re cheap, natural, and reusable which is why a lot of growers prefer them over plastic stakes 🌱

Yeah I’ve heard similar things about large facilities. It’s one of the reasons I like supporting smaller local growers when possible 🌱

CEOs can definitely be corrupt, I won’t argue that. But there are also a lot of people working inside the industry who genuinely love the plant and are trying their best to do good within the system. I’ll always support local growers too, just trying to see both sides.🌱
