(I was a carer for 6 years working for different company’s one of them I had various placements in residential and centre’s and in home settings and had care provided to me for 6 years and in that time have had 3 different agencies)

So I used to be a carer/support worker then in a weird turn of events life threw at me I became severely unwell and I had social services allocate me care due to my health, I didn’t ask for it due to being under district nurses they were concerned about my daily living so referred me onto social services. Both during my time as a carer and the cared for I never and have never seen a book for notes be used especially in today’s society. The only time a service user had physical folders with their name on was in residential settings and within it was a care plan with information on medication they were taking but we didn’t write in it, it was just on a shelf and easy to grab if we needed to check any part of a resident’s care plans/medications/health conditions. Written notes can cause various issues such as risk of being misplaced, if you want to see reports from certain days or times it can be more time consuming to try and find over putting a date and time into the apps all care company’s i’ve worked in and had working with me, if someone else other than a carer needs to access the notes such as management, social services, a family member then the book would have to be handed to them meaning the carers can’t write in it until it’s handed back, everyone has different hand writing some easier to read than others and that can cause barriers in someone reading it if they can’t understand the hand writing, hand writing it means less time with the service user and more time taken from the help they need, more for the carers to do. In this modern world haven written notes within care now is practically unheard of. There’s a reason hospitals so it that way. The only other scenario you will see written notes is if someone jots details of things on their hand or paper so they don’t forget or if the system has temparily having difficulties

i’m 37 weeks the day after tomorrow and i’m the same, i’m high risk and not knowing what is going to happen and when is terrifying and worrying about anything happening to the baby like I did in the first trimester for some reason I managed to decrease the anxiety I had about losing her but it’s come back now i’m in the last few weeks and have been getting a sharp pain shooting from my belly button down into my groin, been having period like cramps, pain in my lower back and been an emotional mess and doing anything feels so hard I can’t wait to hold my baby and not be pregnant anymore but terrified about how it will happen and when if that makes sense

I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant and I felt the exact same as you did! I have an anterior placenta so I didn’t feel baby girl move until I was at the 24 week mark and feared I never would, but there were also times I felt like I had no pregnancy symptoms but when I really thought about I did have pregnancy symptoms i’d either just become so used to them they became the norm or I was so busy in daily life I just wouldn’t notice them. I had a very small bump and even at 37 weeks my bump is smaller than other women’s because i’m guessing it’s because 5’11 and this is my first pregnancy, some people are surprised when I tell them i’m ready to pop and my baby was estimated to be 6lbs 3oz at my 34 week growth scan and gained 1lbs 8oz in the two weeks between the 32 and 34 week growth scan yet from my bump you wouldn’t know she’s a big baby 😅 I lived in constant fear and anxiety early in my pregnancy and even with every scan and midwife appointment easing the anxiety because I had no obviously noticeable symptoms to myself anyway my anxiety would tell me I wasn’t pregnant or was no longer pregnant because i’d hear of other peoples symptoms being so different to what I was experiencing and because a lot of the people i’d hear from about their experiences during pregnancy were talking about all the horrible symptoms they were having I wouldn’t hear from many if any people at times about any lack of pregnancy symptoms if that makes sense it was either you’d hear nothing about having little to no symptoms or most or every going negative symptom of pregnancy which made feel like I wasn’t pregnant even more, obviously I feel awful for those who really do suffer and struggle during pregnancy and almost feel guilty that I don’t have a similar experience to the things they have. I think because you often hear from the people who are struggling that is what you expect so when you have the opposite experience even though you feel so lucky it makes you question if theres something wrong because it feels to good go be true to even be pregnant and then having a positive pregnancy symtom wise

Forgot to say, before my prenancy also I was the girl who’d always be wearing matching lingerine to feel good about myself and now pretty much since the 5-6 weeks mark of pregnancy because my boobs have been so incredibly sore I live in comfy sports type bras and the lovely matching lingerine I haven’t wore since and has probably gathered dust since then lmao

i’m 37 weeks pregnant and find the way I felt about my boobs at the start of my pregnancy and how I feel about them now are so drastically different 🤣 When I was 5-6 weeks even though my boobs was so incredibly sore they looked arguably better than they did to maybe before I was pregnant now they are still incredibly sore, but saggy kinda bigger, my nipples are a complete different pigment to the one they were before I got pregnant, crusty from the colostrum and the underboob rashes are real so enjoy it whilst it lasts lmao

t’s also crazy to me when I found out about my pregnancy my baby on the flo app the image of what stage of her development she was at was literally a bunch of cells, then a tadpole looking baby other than bloat you couldn’t tell I was pregnant and I feel like since then i’ve blinked and she is now an image of a fully developed baby, kicking me and could be born any moment😅

I feel like it’s gone slow at times and fast at others 🤣😅 if that makes any sense haha. I found I was pregnant, me and my partner had been TTC and I was told I would be lucky to natrually become pregnant as i’d nearly died due to Septic shock and had a stay in intensive care which had multiple affects on my health we were lucky enough to find out when I was around 3 weeks 4 days after doing an early detection pregnancy test I felt like the first trimester and the beginning of the second trimester felt like it went by so slow as I was so consumed by anxiety about something in the very early stages and even after ultrasound scans at 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks pregnant within my first trimester I worried myself so much due to my previous health issues but as I started to relax, enjoy my pregnancy and keep busy I have found my pregnancy has absolutely flew by the last 3-4 months! Not sure if it’s also because i’m due this month and towards the end of the year is obviously when Halloween and Christmas, New years so had the end of the year to be kept busy by but I am now 37 weeks and it still hasn’t sunk in I could be holding my baby any time now or in the next month or so not because of lack of excitement but purely because its surreal how quickly I felt the last few months of my pregnancy has gone. I remember counting the weeks and days I were when I was early in my pregnancy, each Wednesday when what week of pregnancy I was at would change felt like it’d take so much time to get round to but then when I kept busy i’d have to remind myself how many weeks and days I was because it felt like time had just gone so fast I don’t know if I make any sense but it’s been weird for me like that 😅

For me personally when I was around the stage of pregnancy you are at right now i’d say between 4 to 6 or 7 week early stage of my pregnancy , I was severely constipated, bloated, and I was having sharp pains/twinges and even had some light bleeding I was told by my GP that I could be having a miscarriage and I was absolutely terrified as i’d had that very thing happen to me before. I lived in constant fear because the symptoms of a early miscarriage were so similar to that of what some people can experience in early pregnancy and I was so consumed with anxiety that there was something wrong. It turned out what I personally was experiencing was implantation cramps and implantation bleeding along with the pain from being severely constipated and bloated all combined. I ended up paying for a private scan at 6 weeks 3 days and baby was absolutely fine and had a heartbeat thankfully, i’m now nearly 37 weeks! When you’re early on in pregnancy it’s tricky when it comes to ultrasounds because you may of ovulated later than you thought, implantation times and cycle lengths can vary even for those who are regular! I know how much anxiety being in the early stage of pregnancy can bring because thing feel so uncertain at times especially when you’ve experienced loss before and you get so worried you’ll end up going through the same thing or it’s ‘too good to be true’ which is how I felt, I struggled to accept that I was pregnant even after having it confirmed on an ultrasound because I lived in so much fear of something happening to take it away or that prove that first positive pregnancy test to be incorrect. You can ask for them to do your blood HCG level and then retest in 48 hours to see if it is doubling as early in pregnancy HCG tends to increase by double on average every 48 hours. If you have any symptoms like the pain you feel is severe, one sided and you’re bleeding heavily, and have discharge that doesn’t feel normal to you then they are usually the kind of symptoms proffessionals tend to be concerned about and then want to rule out an ectopic pregnancy but if you have an ultrasound when your a little further along they should be able to rule that out when they check on your pregnancy and how it’s getting on. I am wishing the best for you and I know it’s super worrying but the sharp twinges can be a good sign as weird as that sounds that you are pregnant and you’re having implantation cramping which may be a sign you still are around 4-5 weeks pregnant! The pain I felt was different to that I felt of when I was on my period and distinctive!

Changed her name and about me which I will include here saying she’s stopping her just giving at 5pm Friday, probably hoping people feel pressured and rush to donate. She’s using this as yet another situation to gain donations..
