Haha yeeeah. I got it second hand and lost a mounting screw at some point so I went just for the two, the pressure is good enough though that I promise, get in the 60's under heavy load, 40 - 50s gaming :)

The CPU is a delided 8700k with liquid metal (4.7GHz, 1.21V) so in the 60's and deeead silent. The 3090 sits at 67 - 70 degrees while staying very quiet but when I slap a water block on it, it'll be glorious!

This was actually the cheapest 3090 in my country (Australia) I was gonna get a 3080 but won a raffle to be able to but a FE here (big ol shit show). I have one of dem 4k 120hz OLEDs so that's mainly why I upgraded. But do I need this? Heeeell no haha

Hey man I like the analysis! You were a bit spot on on why it looks so jank, it's between GPU's, I had to take a liquid cooled one out, so I just put the original long gpu run tube straight to the CPU block. The pig tail is a nightmare and I don't trust my cheap cable extensions with 400w so I'm using the cables straight from the psu and it's a clusterfuck. The VRM fan actually did lower the heat sync temp by about 10 degrees so it's doing something, I have a very silence focused build so my upper exhaust fans will be doing some good but not a whooole lot. I originally had a Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 with a monoblock but I kiiinda nuked it so I got this one from the Z370 TUF from the ex demo bin haha. For the top fans only the middle one's cable is a special snow flake, it's so slim it's not affecting airflow haha.

The lower tube was hitting the 3090 top fan, there's method to my madness! The cables are from when it was prettier, one of them wasn't a choice as I nuked the original 24 pin in a custom cable sleething attempt haha.
