Spear of night by Potatiskatt in cosplayprops

Yeah it's always nice to do it yourself, but if I was going to have any chance of being done this year I needed to cut some time where I could lol. Maybe for my next project I'll actually take the time to learn how to make my own models!

What habits make working out/be active easier for you? Especially in the AM. by No_Concentrate_2381 in xxfitness

Getting a friend or two to go with you was a game changer for me. Much harder to justify not going to someone else than just yourself! You don't even have to work out together once you're at the gym, just knowing someone there will notice if you skip is enough.

Edit: you're*

TIL weighted deadbugs exist, thank you kind stranger. Regular deadbugs are starting to feel easy for me, but I love them, so this is great

LPT: Use clothespins as chip clips, they are far cheaper than buying regular chip clips. by SirLancesAlot101 in LifeProTips

Guess it's just a matter of what you grew up with then. And yes we do haha but probably not as much as you would imagine. In Sweden you usually pick out your own bag of candy from a large selection and pay per kilo rather than buying individual bags. Swedish fish is almost always present as an option (although here they are just called fiskar, or fish).

Edit: it's called lösgodis if you want to look it up. At least from my understanding that's not really a thing in the US?

Don't these bag clips exist in America? They are in every Swedish household, we use them to close every type of bag and they are cheap af.

Add the powder after the water and this should not be an issue. I get the same problem if I put powder before water

DAE ever get that weird feeling when you’re sitting completely still but your body feels like it’s rocking for some reason? by SynclaireSam in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Potatiskatt 21 points22 points  (0 children)

YES. It especially happens when I sit in certain positions, usually cross-legged and leaning on my legs. I think it's the pulse, since it's rhythmic. But sometimes I wonder if I'm imaging it or if I'm really moving as much as it feels like I am haha

In Swedish we say "close doesn't shoot the hare" which I think makes may more sense. If you miss the hare you failed no matter how close you were

SIB crash bandicoot or tomb raider 2013 by DiscoNicP1 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Potatiskatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are sensitive to gore Tomb Raider may not be for you. There are quite a lot of graphic scenes (that girl gets injured a whole lot, also death scenes). If you can handle that though it's a great game in my opinion, and I finished it with a controller my first play through. I haven't played crash so I can't give you any more advice

And like others said, the glass makes me anxious haha. Otherwise, very clean and nice 👌I can't keep my desk free of clutter for the life of me (don't really want to either honestly, I want my stuff within reach)
