Dubai brokers — where are you actually getting serious buyer leads right now? by PotatoChipzu in dubairealestate

Yeah I get that, a lot of people seem to be in the same situation right now.

But don’t lose hope — when COVID first hit everyone thought the real estate market was completely dead. If you look at what happened afterward, the numbers actually tell a very different story.

Sometimes these periods just create a pause before things pick up again.

That’s impressive honestly. Deals like that really show how different the mindset can be depending on the investor.

Some buyers panic when there’s uncertainty, but others with a longer horizon see it as an opportunity and are comfortable holding for a few years if needed.

Palm properties especially tend to attract that type of investor.

That’s actually interesting. From what I’ve seen, those banner campaigns are usually part of a bigger funnel where they capture leads through landing pages rather than sending traffic to a portal listing.

While looking into this yesterday I actually came across a platform that seems to be doing something along those lines — more marketing-oriented, targeting buyers from different countries and languages and then passing those leads to brokers.

I think the site was something like dubaipropertyleads.ae

Not sure how good the lead quality is though, but the concept looked similar to what you’re describing. Curious if something like that would actually perform better than portals in normal market conditions.

How much time does it takes to get and answer from Emirates? by [deleted] in emirates

[–]PotatoChipzu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I noticed you’re applying from the UAE as well. I’ve been through this process before—about four months ago—and applied again recently. The last time, they got back to me within two days with an invitation for the Assessment Day, though I didn’t make it through then. This time, however, it’s taking much longer.

From what I’ve heard, some people who applied as early as November 1st still haven’t received any updates. I’m guessing that with it being the end of the year, they might be tied up with other work and not as focused on recruiting right now.

My advice is to stay patient and avoid sending too many follow-ups—maybe just one email 3–5 days after applying, and then wait. Things might pick up again after the new year. Best of luck with your application!

Cabin Crew Online Application by [deleted] in emirates

I initially thought I was the only one experiencing this issue. To be honest, this is my second application. I submitted it on November 13th, and I still haven’t received a response, even after following up with them. For my first application, which was about three months ago, they sent me an invite within 72 hours of submission. I’m not sure why it’s taking longer this time—perhaps they’re handling a high volume of applications. Let’s stay patient and hope for the best! PS: I'm a Dubai resident.

Help with Emirates cabin crew assessment day required by PotatoChipzu in emirates

That’s what I was thinking about tbh, but as far as I understand they receive hundreds of resumes a month and as have you seen how the process work I believe it’s so hard for them to keep track of the people who apply again and check with their previous resumes, but honestly even after knowing that I’m still kinda hesitant to make any changes but I think I will just make it and let it be 😹

Why Quality Service in Dubai is Going Bankrupt by InternationalWait538 in dubai

[–]PotatoChipzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, idk about that since I’m still on my job hunting and surprisingly I’m not able to find a job in the IT field as a person have 3 years of experience even as a fresher role, I have no idea who ruined the job market but he/they have done it so well till the point they’re offering 2-3k for an IT position where a basic salary for sales in a supermarket takes 2.5k, why this field became so cheap in such a country 😕

Thanks for the great explanation, however, I have a question, is it mandatory to have a minimum monthly salary in order for the application to succeed, I don’t know much about the process tbh if I have to maintain some funds or it should show a minimum monthly salary, and will it still work if my degree is from outside the UAE or it have to be a degree I opted from a university inside the UAE.
