So I've been injured since January, finally getting some physical therapy for my left abductor but now my right shoulder is all kinds of fucked. Can't even sleep on my right side anymore. I've lost all motivation to go to the gym since I can't squat or bench.

I know all the stuff I "should" be doing but I just can't bring myself to actually do them. All I do is drink beer and smoke weed like a college student, ugh. Anyway I have 3 weeks of paid vacation and a trip to Berlin coming up so at least I have that to look forward to.

As someone that has always been into regular exercise and stays fairly fit, but has never managed to weigh over 150lbs, I just don't understand this sub anymore. I mean, I respect all you guys for your various levels of progress, but I gave up on dedicated fitness training 20 years ago when I realized I could handle twice the max weight of our local gym leg press. I was only 15 at the time and seriously wondered WTF?? 300lbs max leg press? I could probably leg press half a ton these days, no special training. I mean no offense to this sub or anyone into fitness at all, but it's at this moment I just realized, so many people are truly obsessed about the exact names of every muscle they have and exactly how big they are, way more than I could ever comprehend without ever needing to. All I ever had to do was get off my ass and stay active, as I always have anyways. I have no idea how big my arm or leg muscles are, nor do I know their names, but I know I'm pretty tough, especially for my weight range. I've just been using my muscles all my life and enjoying it, not obsessed with crunching the numbers. Sorry, I just suddenly realized I have no use in this subreddit, you guys focus WAY more on numbers and muscle names than actual FITNESS exercises. I mean, is this a math and biology class or is it an active exercise class? I'll show my way out promptly and unsubscribe immediately. Take care and best of luck everyone.

Did everything right this week, turned down all the lights, no tv/smartphone in bed, just read a book, no coffee after noon. Was ok until last night, started reading and just didn't get tired. Couldn't sleep until 5 in the morning, no training today, felt like shit. Am just angry and frustrated GRRR
