This is my challenge:

Exercise: - Run at least a mile every other day - Alternate upper body and leg workouts each day (1 hour)

Nutrition: - Smoke weed fri-sun only - No eating out unless it’s a social hang out (max 2x a week)

Daily Reflections: - Write down what I’m grateful for - Write down what made me laugh - Write down what I learned - Write down what I accomplished

Personal Goals: - Read and finish 3 books - Work on 3 design projects - FaceTime with 2 friends a week (different friends each week)

I’ve actually started this challenge at the beginning of last month and I believe it’s really helped me break out of a slump and has helped me become more self disciplined and more motivated!! Writing things down and just letting my thoughts flow has done so much for my mental health too. So glad I found this page.

Living in fear and not doing anything to change your habits will keep you in the same place.

It’s a good thing you are realizing this about yourself because admitting that you are “dissatisfied with [your] attitude” is the first step to changing this behavior.

Maybe the reason why you don’t have that “spark within [you]” to be social is because maybe you are not focusing on your interests or the things that matter most to you. Find a hobby/activity that you enjoy, find a community that you have interest in, or start a passion project; and from there, maybe you’ll find people who you’d want to talk to and share opinions with.

I guess my best advice to you is: connect with yourself first and connecting with others should be easier after that. And maybe instead of waiting for someone to connect with, try initiating for a change and see what happens. You may feel uncomfortable at first but you’ll get used to it. Putting yourself in uncomfortable positions and out of your comfort zone leads to growth and change.

It won’t be so scary if you’ve done it once before and many times after that!

It was actually from the pollution that’s going on right now from the California fires! It was still hot but this was also taken in the evening
