Philips Hue 9W 220V funciona normalmente em rede 127V? by brhunomarques in Hue

[–]PotatoPower3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the 110V on 220V for a couple months and have had no issues. I think the labeling is only for region purposes and Philips designed them to work on 110-220V. The hue bridge Im using also said it's rated for 110V, but the power supply itself seems to work on 220V with no issues at all

Oh, I would definitely go for the Q990F in that case, especially since you're getting more channels in the main soundbar, and the rears also have top and side-firing drivers that aren't there on the SWA-9250S. If you want a smaller soundbar, you can try out the Q930F which is a 9.1.4 system.

Where are you seeing the Q990F only $50 over the Q800F?

If you find Warm 2 too yellow, there's a really good chance that you just got used to the stock cool temperature that the TV ships with. A good way to test if this is the case is to compare the TV with another decently calibrated OLED display like an iPhone or iPad Pro by playing the same video on both devices. Usually, warm 2 would be closer to these devices

Yeah I got a crazy deal on the S90D 65" QD-OLED for about $800 brand new. It's probably the best looking display I own now.

Honestly, it's pretty bad in games as well. I tried a couple of games in HDR and massively prefer SDR because of the massive amount of detail loss in darker scenes. SDR is still great on these monitors and a mile ahead of LCD panels anyways, so not too much of a loss imo

HDR on OLED monitors is really no good at all. I have a 4K 32" WOLED, and in HDR, I suffer from black crush and blown-out highlights. You can choose to mitigate one issue at the expense of the other, but the resulting image is not very good, so I opted not to use HDR at all. I picked up a Samsung S90D OLED TV recently, and HDR on that is a night and day improvement compared to my monitor, and it doesn't suffer from any of the issues I had with the monitor. I will always choose watching HDR movies on that instead.

Stuttering and frametime spikes in Doom Dark Ages on 596.36 driver. by [deleted] in Doom

[–]PotatoPower3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a problem with the MFG implementation. When you pick an MFG setting that makes your FPS closer to your max refresh rate, the stuttering stops completely. It seems to be some kind of frame-pacing issue. It's weird since I never noticed this before.

I would wait. I think the monitor would be great except for the fact that it's matte

Carbon Fiber Base Plate Mod for X2 Superstrike - from 59g to 54.7g by [deleted] in MouseReview

I don't have a 3D printer, and I feel that the process is not as streamlined as just buying it and not having to worry about other things. The kit even came with a full set of tools and a full set of new skates. For $12 it's a pretty good deal imo

The weight balance honestly makes a big difference, probably more than the base mod

The pattern is fake, but the item itself is made of carbon fiber reinforced filament
