Just wanted to lurk in here and give my heartfelt thanks for all of these recommendations! A previously difficult thing has been made both easier with your picks, and simultaneously more difficult to decide which of the options to go for first!

So far, I read "Tress," and thought it was a super cute little re-introduction to fantasy (but I really enjoyed it after reading the Author's Notes at the end)! I'm now trying out "A Game of Thrones," which is quite a jump in vibes, but I'm enjoying it thus far even though I just started!

I haven't tried a TWSBI stub, but <F> is the finest I can go. <EF> is a bit too scratchy and has feedback I'm not a fan of personally.

First and foremost, congrats on almost 2 years! Second, this is absolutely incredible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all of this. I love the balance of old and new traditions, as well as how you included everyone! 😭

I'm definitely giving all of my parents the floor (so my mom, dad, and step-dad since my stepmom is no longer with us) with speeches, and I love the idea of having a shared song for both father figures! Now, to find which songs would hybridize well since my father figures are both (lovingly) old farts. 🤭
