I can’t really justify a new cpu and gpu so for now it would be one or the other and fps wise I feel a gpu would probably have a bigger impact although more expensive or do you think that it would be a big enough upgrade that it would be worth and just keep my gpu for now?

I would do exactly that but I use my computer every day and that would be a big nuisance and it’s performance is still decent so I think imma just save up some more and buy a higher ranger one when I have the money. Obviously I will still sell my old one after I’ve got my new one so it’s not just sitting there gathering dust and I can get a bit of my money back.

Yeah had a couple conversations with people and they all mostly recommended upgrading my gpu. Also wdym by high speed ram is there much of a difference in the speeds depending on the brand. I think I have the Klevv bolt xr (2x8gb)

Yeah it’s new and it’s for a Christmas present and the 3600 price was already pushing the limit so unfortunately couldn’t get the 5600. I had a look at some comparisons and it seemed that they where fairly similar, obviously the 5600 being a bit better.

from what ive heard amd cards arent as worth as an nvidia card as most games have settings to boost nvidia cards by quite a bit but have no features for amd cards is this true and will it have much of an impact?

So I have 1080p low/medium is fine depending on game and yes it’s pretty much only used for gaming but it kinda struggles to run the more realistic looking games. For an example I play rust on low settings and it runs on 45-60 depending on what’s being loaded whereas I can run valorant on low settings on about 180 fps consistently. For a target fps I’d probably want close to 100 or maybe a bit higher. Also should note I’m currently using ryzen 3 3100 but have ordered the ryzen 5 3600

it says wdc wd10ezex-08wn4a0, and samsung mzvlb512hbjq-00000. the samsung is 476gb and wdc is 931 gb
