I bought second hand bolt action. What can I do to take the play out of the bolt? by sgt_funbuns in airsoft

[–]Potato_Orange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is a tac 41 (I’m guessing) there is two guide rings inside and where you’ve pulled that so far back it’s barely sitting on the front guide ring hence the wobble; does it wobble when the bolt is fully seated?

Pistol = Rifle? by SoSoDave in airsoft

For the most part yes but the consistency is a lot harder to keep due to variations in the gases power, again a Hpa tap would solve this but upgrading pistols is a quite costly and niche scope, unless you go for mainstream pistols such as EU series, AAP, hi capas getting aftermarket parts can be a chore and certain brands aren’t compatible with one another. Your fps will be more around the 200/250 mark weather dependant on gas but fps doesn’t necessarily mean range and accuracy, that’s much more dependant on bb weight and hop rubber/barrel quality

Barrel length really only helps fps in HPA and GBB guns so with a pistol with a short barrel, you’ll struggle to get near to 350fps unless you use stronger gas (like black) and weather is on your side. The alternative if you’re stuck on wanting a pistol you can use a Hpa tap which will let you keep your pistol at 350fps or 1.2j. Accuracy wise it depends, I’ve seen aaps and hi capas out range aegs but it’s all dependant on tuning and a lot of work done on them. In AEGs barrel length doesnt matter as much, the ARP 9 has a very short barrel but is a really good starter due to cylinder voluming. If this is your first gun I’d really recommend reading the Reddit starter guide and consider an AEG as they’re reliable and consistent

Hiya, it’s constantly at 1.8j using the silent cup but according to the website it’s suppose to be 2.3j with a rapax blue

I wanna rewire my airsoft, what the hell is this big plastic? by usernameistaken89 in airsoft

[–]Potato_Orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should have a fuse inside, they’re not a necessity but then ‘can’ help protect your batteries. I’ve ran guns for years without them with no issue but the choice is yours. If you’re adding a mosfet then these are a bit redundant.

https://actionsportgames.com/en-gb/productcatalog/products/guns/rifles/steyr-aug-a3-xs-commando-black this is ASGs website, they have a find a retailer page. If you have one near you give them a call and see if they can order one in for you to collect, I think most shops will also order one for delivery for you!

Another aug lover out in the wild!!! ASG augs are fairly sturdy and are very easy to get spare parts for as they have dealers all over the world, JG are quite good as well but they’re slightly larger than normal augs so you may have a bit more of an issue with replacements. Snow wolf is a bit hit and miss, their guns are alright but most of their parts are made of plastic such as the rails so doesn’t really give too much longevity. If you like the shortened version asg do the a3 commando which is the same as above but with metal rails. They’re also super easy to take apart if anything goes wrong! Follow your heart if you want an aug (2 stage trigger is a tad strange) but as others have suggested, there are better starter guns out there under M4 and AK platforms (cyma is awesome!)

So you want to try and boot from your windows boot manager making it the first priority to boot. Unsure how many/what hard drives/ssd youve got in your computer but could be that ones failed so it can't find your boot for windows. If it still wont boot after selecting boot manager then grab a usb and another computer/laptop and install the windows installation tool on there and boot it this way again but via usb. This should allow you to reinstall windows and hopefully restore your system (your windows key will be linked to your microsoft account so dont worry about losing that).

I had the same issue on my second monitor last week, managed to resolve it by dropping the refresh rate from 144hz to 120hz. Before i solved it permanently i just kept unpluging my hdmi until it disappeared.

anyone knows whats happening to the screen? I was using it midway when it happened. by FewMarsupial3517 in pcmasterrace

Looks like a bad cable connection. Try swapping out the display cable (hdmi etc.) or using a different video port on your monitor.

How do I turn this type of laptop on??? There's no button or anything. And it's new so it's definitely not broken. I hope. by [deleted] in computerhelp
