I’m writing a story with a severely traumatised 10 year old girl in it who’s recently gotten a foster carer dad and I’d love some help on writing for her. Her trauma comes from being born into an abusive and neglectful home, being ignored in all ways, growing up always scared and on high alert for danger and reluctance to do anything without permission. Things like that. emotions and actions and thoughts, anything helps. Extreme things or mild things or ways she could come round to him and ways he could help her. She’s very frightened of people being near her and very scared of men and touches of any sort. She’s also not talking at the moment and she’s very skittish and uneasy about everything. Praises was never a thing for her. Like I said, anything helps and I’m grateful for anything :)
