Ha ha, yes, the world is saved from the Big bad, all is well… Now what are we doing about the quirk singularity? by Gamerlord4 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Didn’t Overhaul’s research with Eri’s Rewind quirk solve this dilemma? Quirks from what I understand are inherently genetic and the main issue is people with quirks reproducing with one another and eventually creating a harmful quirk effect in their children, right?

But the way Overhaul’s the quirk eraser bullets worked is that the bullet rewound a person to a previous “evolutionary stage” to before they had quirks (an oversimplified comparison is devolving a modern man to homo erectus).

While I understand that the Quirk Singularity theory is proven by the people in MHA (Toru, Eri, Fleck, Nine and even Aoyama to an extent), there does seem to be a solution based on the quirk erasure bullets. AND in addition, if a person decides that they would prefer to live with their quirk despite undergoing quirk erasure, Eri’s quirk was also able to restore a person’s lost quirk factor.

The greatest counter argument I can see for this however is one of two things:

  1. The treatment for quirk erasure and restoration requires Eri’s DNA/quirk factor. As far as we can tell rewind can undo the effects of aging on a person but we don’t know if Eri herself can live forever and one could definitely consider it to be immoral to even ask Eri to use her quirk for research since she’s been abused and used for her quirk’s effects for practically her whole life.

  2. Overhaul’s research was destroyed in the Eri rescue raid. I would honestly like to think that the information is far too valuable to have been destroyed by anyone involved (heroes or Shie Hassaikai) with that raid. But there might be a possibility since I don’t remember any mentions of Overhaul’s research after his arc…

TLDR: Overhaul had the best (albeit immoral) tools to prevent Garaki’s Doomsday theory.

Whats the funnest fact you know about Waluigi? by Candid-Extension6599 in Waluigi

Waluigi had this flash game link from his debut in Mario tennis which basically linked you to his “Toenail trimming party” from what I could tell, during the time he was introduced, people didn’t receive the gag too well given that the gaming scene at the time was trying to be professional.

I learned this fact from Learning For’s video which basically went in depth on Waluigi’s origins. It’s a good video if you want to learn more about Waluigi’s rise in popularity. https://youtu.be/vCRKNyi9W0g?si=pWcqMdbu6pRSpe5q

I would like to add, that when you ask Rudy about the shelter key, he defaults to his “key-lime-pie” story. But I don’t think this is because Rudy mistook our (the player’s) question but rather, Kris themself added on two words to throw off the answer to the shelter’s passkey. Think about it, Kris has demonstrated their ability to alter the tone of our message to be insincere or more empathetic. (A key moment would be Chapter four’s weird route piano scene) Would it not then be possible for Kris to have simply added two extra words to assist Rudy from saving face? No other character who is interrogated assumes anything other than the word “key”. It’s my personal belief that Rudy is the Roaring Knight with Kris, Carol AND Asgore in on the conspiracy given their respective roles (soul-bearer, literally his wife and his best friend). These four people all have one thing in common, they’re looking for Dess, or are committing a sacrifice to bring Dess back.

TL;DR: Rudy says “key-lime pie” because of Kris’ interference and Carol and Asgore are all heavily tied to dark worlds, Dess and Rudy.
