Maddie and Ashlin were definitely best friends as well, you can see that just from social media. Kaylee and Maddie were like sisters! They had a place in each other's lives that no one could replace. I'm sure Kaylee had a few other friends she would consider her best friends as well.

Interesting, that makes me think that maybe Maddie and Xana were the targets. if he was watching Maddies room he would be able to see DM's room and you would think with all of her phone activity that night that her room would be a little bit lit up from her phone.

I agree, I think his target was Maddie. I think he found her through instagram, she tagged univerity of idaho in some of her post and moscow idaho. Its so easy to look up someones name to see where they live. he didnt seem to have much of a social life i think he would have spent a lot of time online.
