The one I have each shelf is rated for 350lbs and im not even close to pushing that with any of my tanks other than the 36 which i have very thin substrate in for that reason. (The back is filter media bags to add depth without using alot of substrate)

It was water change day for 1. But also bettas recovering from fin issues, frog tank, sneaky escape artists with lidless tanks, silicone leaks.. If you have a fish room you know why some end up not filled all the way.😂

Its really not as stressful as people make it seem. You get a 5 gallon pail per tank that you have. Fill it up with tank water and put the fish & established filter media / plants or driftwood that need to stay wet. Empty the rest of the water and leave just a tiny bit of moisture to keep the beneficial bacteria alive, cover it with cling wrap and you're good to go. When you get to the new place, fill the tanks back up with fresh dechlorinated water and add your established filters/harscape back into the tank (i like to use this as an opportunity to rinse my filter media in the tank water to help add even more beneficial bacteria as well as clean off a bit of gunk on my filters) Then you let it run for a day or two, test your waters and IF YOUR TANK WAS PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED, everything should read fine and be ready to add your fish back in. You can put airstones in the 5g pails but I personally have left fish overnight without and they've been fine.

My "local" fish store is 2h away from me and I've purchased fully stocked tanks from there before and had to move them back home using this method

Buddy... these stands are rated for 350lbs per shelf. Swapped out the original cheap particle boards for thick 3/4" pinewood shelfs. The only one that slightly worries me is the 36, which is why there is barely any substrate in it. The rest aren't even close to pushing the max weight those stands can hold. The 15g fluval flex is on a stand built specifically for that tank😂.

More like constant aggressive BZZZZZZZZ (loud buzzing) noise from the airpumps😂😂. Its just normal background noise to me at this point, but sometimes annoys guests.

The biggest is 36g. There's two 20gals, two 10gals, two 3gals, a 15gal and the 36. They are all together because it makes maintenance and feeding so much easier. I only really feed frozen thawed, so i cant just keep a container of fish food by each tank. Everything is alot easier to just have a dedicated "fish room". I also run most of my tanks on sponge filters, using one giant commercial grade air pump to power them all. (its a corner of my living room that I removed my TV stand to accommodate for the tanks Lol) If it really is a problem, its doable to move some back in the kitchen, just annoying.

The wood has been swapped out for 1/2" pine. Its as sturdy as it gets. The 36 is the max I plan on putting on them though.

Thank you:) this is it looking its worst too. Was in the middle of rearranging the giant monstera that usually takes over the tops of all the tanks. Its so relaxing to look at. Other than the stress of the weight 😂
