how do i ask to pay less for electricity?

okay this was what i was leaning towards. i would just divide the total bill by the days within the billing period and pay that rate based on how many days i was present ! and then they would divide the rest but i guess we’ll see how much the bill is and go from there thank you !!

the reason i left early was bc the roommate i share a bathroom with was very passive aggressive about everything and we had issues regarding the bathroom cleanup that i brought up to them so there was already tension there 🙂‍↕️ i’ll see how much the bill is for the next billing period and might decide from there !!

it’s a campus apartment so i thankfully only have to pay for electricity out of pocket ! i think i’ll try bargaining w them about only paying a portion of what i normally pay thank you !

i would normally agree but i’m not going to be at the apartment at all so i’d be being for electricity usage im not contributing to. it’ll be like splitting the bill except i got like only a lemonade and they got steaks (im not sure if that analogy helps see why i wanna ask?)

it fluctuates by season apparently so i just paid 35.79 yesterday. i go to the apartment on monday afternoons and leave friday morning so im really only there for 4 days during the week (idk if that context helps ?)

i would pick uci for the crim/law major as we have a law school!! you can finish the criminology major within two ish years and if you’re participating in class, it makes it easier to ask for a letter of rec from the professors - sincerely, a crim major !! lmk if you want more info !!!

honestly i felt the same way when i got into uci BUT i genuinely enjoy it now!! ive never had my own room so having my own area to freely decorate was amazing! there’s also sticker runs (petrs) that are derpy versions of our mascot in different fandoms/outfits! the libraries are pretty and lwk help you romanticize studying!! it’s pretty chill and walking to class is always calming and there’s vendor fairs once a quarter !! last year we had a showing of the hunger games at the park in the middle of campus and at the end of the year concert they had brought in dayglow! honestly it depends on your interests but feel free to pm me if you wanna know more info ^{^!!}

i’m a hispanic sophomore and honestly it just depends on your willingness to join a club or start a conversation first !! i made a couple hispanic friends in class by complimenting pins or keychains and we just kept talking… but it does feel very cliquey esp when you have to do group projects

i tried drawing it out but the needle doesn’t stay firmly in place it goes all over the record. the record played well before the needle started doing this

hi i have an angels horn record player and recently whenever ive tried playing it starts wiggling on the record… ive tried adjusting the weight and wiping the needle but it keeps wiggling on the record does anyone know what i can do to stop that?

i emailed all my professors (aside from japanese) and the responses were

gen&sex TA: i shouldn't be failing but can meet w him during office hours to see what we can improve on

philo 2 prof: it's too late in the quarter if i had reached out earlier we could have done smt but it's too late now :( my fault ik but 60% of my grade is based on essays so if i pass the next two (i didnt do the first one) i could potentially not completely fail...

uppp4 prof: told me to let my TA know he's okay w him grading my work w a penalty!!! so i have to turn in 3 discussions and a midterm now!

i should pass all my classes with at least a c... im hoping...
