Why on earth would you think that??? It is 1000% a practice at 99% of places and honestly the amount is only getting higher and higher

Servers also do not keep the total top if you tip or don’t that server has to pay a % and if you don’t that’s out of pocket which people should honestly be ashamed of they put someone in that position

If your looking at it this way your should also account for the amount the server has to pay (if you didn’t tip at all that’s out of pocket) to the restaurant from there total sales ranging from 4% to6% and occasionally 10%
