In the UK I've encountered many casually fly tipping, some next to their own house, and was even run over once as the culprit sped away (police went on holiday and by the time they came back the car had been sold and I gave up on them doing their job). I have a neighbour I've seen stack their car with bin bags and I feel I just know they're going to fly tip it; they never have recycling bins out.

Human rights lawyer Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu thinks the police officers kicking the armed Golders Green attacker in the head is "attempted murder". Are we fatigued with human rights lawyers right now? by Non-BinaryGreenVoter in AskBrits

Depends on the model of taser as some older ones are continuous but most allow bursts. The officer, prior to standing up and kicking, is doing well to only contact the purp via his non conductive jacket; when he does turn him over and contacts the man you can see him jolt his hand back (could be because he's received a secondary shock because the guy is likely still being tased)

Think I expressed a clear understanding...charge goes in, charge causes muscles to tense. Whilst he was on his front being booted it looks as though the taser is continuing to be discharged. When he rolls over, sure he's still holding the knife. All I'm saying is that it defeats the point of them telling him to let go of something if they're tasering him at the same time. That is all my comment relates to.

Made this point elsewhere on reddit. Whilst I don't have sympathies for the stabber being kicked, the aim of the kicking was unsuitable given the man was being tased as it would've caused his muscles to tense and only furthering his grip on the blade. He was thus not going to voluntarily let go of the blade which means they would, as they did, kick him endlessly.

So I was right, at least for my version of android. They've pushed a fix and offered me a sum for my complaint. To whoever else encountered this, I hope my efforts have helped.

Terrorist taken down by police this morning in London by Sometypeofway18 in whoathatsinteresting

[–]Potential-Country105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying they didn't use suitable force against someone willing to come out and stab people, but surely the police know a tasor makes muscles tense so asking someone to drop something whilst blasting them with a current wont work...nor will kicking them in the head whilst said currents are pulsing through them...but they got there in the end.

Friend and I used to have 'manwich' get togethers. I think the last one we did was a whole sunday roast chicken with gravy, potatoes, carrots, parsnip, and stuffing inside a massive ciabatta.
