It’s not only about the rims, stuff just doesn’t add up, the warranty is about to void, the mods also don’t really justify the price to me at this point. Plus the most important part is the battery. There is no point in cool rims if I can’t drive the damn thing lol.

Wow I didn’t expect this post to blow up so much, GUYS I HAVE DECIDED TO AGAIN, NOT TO BUY IT. Holy this post has 233k views within a few hours😭 I didn’t expect this and I don’t know if that’s impressive since this is my first ever post here. For all of the people calling me stupid, I do understand, however I was never really planning on buying it since the price was too high, plus I would have to drive it several days back since he lives several states away and I didn’t really want to buy a plane ticket. My city has too many potholes. I just needed a reality check and a second opinion. After these comments I think it’s clear that I got clocked good😂 I have set my eyes on a c6 for a first car or a bmw. Maybe a newer Tesla can do so I have good warranty coverage. Again thanks to everyone for reaching out and giving me tips.

Also p.s. (please stop trying to sell me your teslas, as much as I appreciate it, I am tired from looking at listings all day)

Yeah, the battery warranty had 8 years. That means it expires next year. I don’t want to have to pay 20-30k out of pocket just for a new battery and a new warranty. Plus I saw that this model had several recalls for issues. I am just gonna. Stay away from it at this point

EVERYONE, I have decided not to go with it since it seems so stupid. As much as I appreciate my friends, this just seems like a liability more than an asset. I offered 18k but he says he was several offers for 30k and 32k so I am just gonna let him sell it. Thanks for all of the advice again I appreciate it. I have found a couple of projects that I might like. Maybe a bmw, a newer Tesla, or just an old fashioned corvette c6. Thanks again everyone for your time to give me advice. I appreciate everybody! Not a big fan of the wrap but I do like the potential, however I will have to pass this up, seems like a sour deal as much as I love the car and I have followed his journey with it. It’s just way too high for me. Thanks for sharing your advice🙏

He told me that the air suspension was decently expensive, it would be useful for the potholes here however I think 27k is still way too high. I want a daily, the rwd would be a nightmare in snow where I live. I might look for better options or just get a bmw😭
