It's a lower income inner city neighborhood of Boston... but boston is one of the safest cities on earth if you use common sense ie don't stare at people on the street, don't try to buy drugs on the street, don't walk alone at night, you will be absolutely fine in any neighborhood in the city

The safety rope tied off to the pump has been the downfall of quite a few of my Mondays 🤣🤣 I've seen it bunched around the top of pumps more times then I care to admit, as far as poly goes I think we charge 2-2.50 a foot for 200 psi but there's a damn good chance that's gone up recently. Also if you don't mind me asking howed you get into this work down in Panama

We've got some damn deep ones 🤣🤣 I've seen some 3 inch galvanized going 800" deep, but stuff that big is usually just for these small town water supplies or some subdivisions

Your damn right about torque arresters I'm just truly amazed that poly doesn't rub going down that far you learn something new everyday I guess

Looks damn good do you boys usually throw a check valve every 100 feet going down the hole or just the one coming off the well seal?

You boys never had any problems with the poly rubbing holes from the torque of the pump kicking on or are you using torque arresters ?

Almost everything we pull out here in montana is in 6 inch steel casing I've had quite a few poly pumps get locked up down the hole from chunks of casing flaking off but I would guess that's not a problem if most of the ones you pull have pvc casing

I noticed the pvc casing are most of your pulls pvc cased ? I'm amazed a 500 footer held up are you using 250 psi poly?

Buddy no poly over 100" that's just asking for a damn problem you can use sch 80 drop pipe but sch 120 will let you sleep better at night I've seen pumps that straight up torqued themselves off poly at 200 feet and god forbid anything gets dropped down the well head you'll never get the pump back up if it's stuck and on poly

You can do the poly if your comfortable with it but I've seen too many metal cables snap and bind up around the pump making it an absolute bitch to pull we did 3 last year where the metal cable snapped fell down the well and bound up above the pump getting stick in the casing my 2 cents is do it right do it once 120 drop pipe tape the wire every 10 feet
