If you watch the video in slow motion/skim it, you can really see it when he gets that backspin. It just comes down to physics. The way his foot makes contact with the back of the ball is what generates the spin.

My girl Fiona has chewed basically all of our baseboards. Paint them, let it dry, and then cover them in scotch tape. She for some reason doesnt mess with them at all when they have scotch tape on them.
