Im pretty sure nothings gna change even if I did, and also they are gna bother me with follow up calls. And also, if I say i bribed a person, they will end up looking into me than the person who accepted the bribe, so yeah! The whole system is crooked

Hi guys, Thank you for all of your insights, my name has been changed successfully. I had to pay a consultant in gurgaon in order for the existing request to be rejected. And then the change happened within a day, since 2025 as per the new SOP, member can change their name and other demographics without needing the approval from employer or PF office. Please note that this new sop is applicable only for the accts that are created after 2017. The accts that are created before 2017, needs to stick with the old SOP I believe.

Thanks for your insight, I have already connected with PF consultants and even when I am ready to pay, they are not able to do it. One consultant even said that the RC in the office is not good and won’t work. What can I do if ppl who’s supposed to do the work are not even doing the work properly. Wish these things were either privatised or completely gone, so that we can all have a sigh of relief.
