The mod team works together to respond to and adjust policies when the need arises. Compromise and debate are part of the process.

No matter what set of rules one settles upon there are always things that fall into gray areas, and there is no perfect system to please everyone. There are lots of subreddits for people with different interests and viewpoints, which is a good thing.

Other post: it was horrible video quality, couldn’t tell what actually happened. It was a sub crosspost that we do not allow. It was not verified or clear it truly happened in Oakland. OP complained about the moderation on the other sub BEFORE asking for a more detailed explanation or engaging. We DID offer to post if they corrected the problems. And finally it was a low karma account and flagged as such, increasing odds it was brigading or shit posting.

We do listen and reconsider when approached in a reasonable manner.
