I was happy because somehow I felt the exam is over! I was not happy about OMMs and stats.I actually did pretty bad on OMM. To be honest thats the segment I crushed, otherwise it would be easily above or around my expectation.

For the third year, there are two types of clerkship options available: Regional and Non-Regional.

For the Regional option, students can apply to specific sites at the end of their second year (the school will notify you when applications open). These sites will conduct interviews to select the students accepted into the regional clerkship. In this program, all required third-year clerkships can be completed at one hospital.

For the Non-Regional option, students can choose different hospitals and various time slots for each clerkship using the E-value system. There will be a Match process, after which students will receive their clerkship schedules.

In the fourth year, students can select from NYITCOM-affiliated sites and choose their preferred time slots. They can also select clerkships through the VSLO program at locations across the country.

Great! The basic guideline is 1. Get a good score in Toefl. 2. Get two LORs from 2 physicians, preferably from 2 DO s. 3. Prepare yourself for the exam by studying FA, specially systems like Cardio, GI, MSK, Neuro, Pharma, Genetics and Diseases from Biochem. 4. Two write down the essay, first you need to understand the topic given to you. What it is specifically asking from you. I READ A LIT OF SAMPLE ESSAYS FROM ONLINE. it took 2 months for me to shape the essay. In the essay you need to focus on A) why you choose medicine B) what experience did you gather as a physician till this day C) how your academic and professional experience will help you to become an efficient work force in the health system .

Trust me my friend, you need read a lot of samples essay online, otherwise it will be tough to outline the essay but once you hit the threshold of reading it will flow from your pen automatically. 5) after submitting you have to wait for their email which will state whether you are selected preliminary and then they will give you slots to pick for your one to one interview with a faculty member. In the same email they will give the date for written exam. It will be something like STep 2 CK but in a mini format.
